Ostrich meat, from the large flightless bird native to Africa, is becoming more popular as an alternative to traditional meats like beef, pork, and chicken. The benefits of ostrich meat are Low Fat Content, High Protein, Rich in Iron, High in nutrients and most importantly, it is free from Hormones and Antibiotics.

Preparation time 5 minutes – Cooking time 18 minutes ~ serves 2
Ingredients:
250g of Ostrich steak
200g of Baby spinach
125g of Porta bellini mushrooms
Cherry tomatoes
1/2 Brown Onion
Cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Himalayan salt
Instructions:
• Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, sautee onions for 2 minutes, add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
• Add salt, cayenne pepper and baby spinach, and cook for 3 minutes.
• In another saucepan, add olive oil and add the ostrich steak with salt (ONLY); sautee for 4-5 munites until nice and brown on medium-high heat.
• Plate on a serving bowl.
